摘要: Abstract Harvesting solar energy through usage of flat plate water collector (FPSWCs) has been widely used in different domestic, agricultural, and industrial applications. Phase change materials (PCMs), due to their unique thermo-physical properties, have exploited designs collectors maximize the useful heat gained by collectors. Moreover, adding nanoparticles PCMs produce nanocomposite (NC) with superior properties added new advantages applications these This literature review focuses on developments implementation Furthermore, effect types nanoparticles, including: metal, metal oxides, carbon a high thermal conductivity skeleton graphite, foams, transfer behavior are also reviewed analyzed. The results indicated that significant improvement obtained using carbon-based specifically graphite graphene nano-platelets compared oxides at nanoparticle concentrations. It is revealed that, integration FPSWCs leads satisfactory storage capacity could provide hot temperature for longer time. it recommended use NCPCMs may be considered as an effective tool improve efficiency FPSWC. However, further optimization studies needed explore impact factors such type, weight fraction, size, PCM type performance. A noteworthy observations, important proportionalities, future trends discussed.
