摘要: Rail support modulus is an important factor in safety of railway track. This parameter defined as force imposing on rail length unit per displacement vertical direction. because it affects track performance and maintenance requirements. Both low large undesirable. Low the has been shown to cause differential settlement that then increases needs. On other hand, higher value causes axle load be distributed fewer sleepers therefore received dynamic loads for any sleeper rail-sleeper fastening will increased. Sandy desert areas are critical regions about contamination ballast. In these areas, flowing sand grains influence between ballast aggregates increase stiffness layer modulus. this paper, results a field investigation effect values sandy presented.
