Fine needle aspiration of myofibroblastoma of the breast in a man. A report of two cases.

摘要: The cytopathologic features of fine needle aspiration biopsy two myofibroblastomas the breast in men are described. cytologic findings consisted monomorphic spindle cells with ovoid, grooved nuclei, isolated or clusters, an ill-defined, short fascicular pattern and abundant acellular, myxoid-appearing material. Atypical were absent. No epithelial elements present. We emphasize value cytology association clinical mammographic data to establish a definitive diagnosis this uncommon entity. This benign tumor should be considered pure cell, nontypical specimens masses sharp demarcation from surrounding tissue, especially men.
