摘要: Abstract Detecting and treating cancer effectively involves understanding the disease as one of somatic cell tumor macroevolution. That is key to avoid triggering an adverse reaction therapy that generates untreatable deadly population. Macroevolution differs from microevolution by karyotype changes rather than isolated localized mutations being major source hereditary variation. Cancer cells display multi-site chromosome rearrangements appear have arisen in many different cases abruptly history evolution. These genome restructuring events help explain punctuated macroevolutionary mark transitions progression. At least two nonrandom patterns rapid multisite – chromothripsis (“chromosome shattering”) chromoplexy weaving”) are clearly distinct their distribution within biology stress-induced processes responsible for occurrence. observations tell us eukaryotic capacity reorganize genomes rapidly response calamity. Since been identified human germline other eukaryotes, they provide a model organismal macroevolution kinds stresses lead mass extinctions.
