High performance work systems and organizational performance in emerging economies : evidence from MNEs in Turkey

摘要: This study examines the association between usage of high-performance work systems (HPWS) by subsidiaries multinational enterprises (MNEs) in Turkey and employee subsidiary level outcomes. The is based on a survey 148 MNE operating Turkey. results show that HPWS has significant positive impact effectiveness. However, their skills development, organizational financial performance are far less clear. Our findings highlight extent to which HWPS need be adapted take account context-specific institutional realities.
