Hydrothermal synthesis and luminescence properties of GdVO4:Ln3+ (Ln = Eu, Sm, Dy) phosphors

摘要: Abstract GdVO 4 :Eu 3+ microcrystals and nanocrystals with different morphologies were successfully synthesized via a simple hydrothermal method in wide range of pH value, characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersion spectrum (EDS), transmission (TEM) photoluminescence (PL) spectrometer. The experimental results indicate that the properties crystals have strong dependence on values solution. Additionally, Dy /Sm doped method, their luminescent performed. effects annealing temperature, rare ions (Eu , Sm ) doping concentration emission intensity also investigated. :Ln (Ln = Eu, Sm, Dy) phosphors show characteristic under ultraviolet excitation due to efficient transfer from VO 3− group earth ions.
