摘要: The aim of our study was to identify the structures which may be at risk injury when using a minimally invasive technique for osteosynthesis lateral malleolus and influence size implant on frequency these structures. Forty plates were percutaneously inserted in 20 cadaveric legs. region around plate then dissected examine relation nerves soft tissues plate. superficial peroneal nerve direct contact with 11 cases (55%) 10 hole plates. We encountered only one case skirting proximal edge 6 (p = 0.0164). Consequently we recommend meticulous attention is paid dissection both distal incisions. length checked intraoperative imaging prior its insertion, site incisions marked skin. After careful down bone, preserving tendons, periosteal elevator should introduced from as well prepare extra-periosteal tunnel insertion plate, order avoid entanglement metal work, particularly longer than six holes.
