Optical, Electron Microscopic, and X‐ray Topographic Studies of Ferroic Domains in Barium Titanate Crystals Grown from High‐Temperature Solution

摘要: BaTiO3 single crystals were grown by the top-seeded solution growth (TSSG) technique and spatial domain configurations in tetragonal observed using a polarizing microscope, SEM, TEM, X-ray topography. The 90° boundaries stopped, forming wedge shapes, another boundary. All of straight lamellar patterns, even herringbone structure, can be interpreted as head-to-tail walls. irregular overlapped boundary microscope It looks if domains are penetrating one because wedge-shaped spatially at those boundaries. After thinning polishing {001} crystal plates, some 90°a–c disappear a-domains become predominant.
