Effects of Biological Activated Carbon Treatment of Model Surface Water.

摘要: Model surface water which had been prepared by extracting a leaf mold and adding corn steep liquor was treated the fixed beds of glanular activated carbon(GAC) sand. The removal efficiency organic pollutants consumption disolved oxygen in both were studied.In sand column, 5-10% decomposed biofilm formed on GAC made from coconut shell showed little adsorption effect beside effect. On other hand, GACs coal larger biological due to regeneration for long time.
