摘要: Power optimizers, which perform power conversion and distributed maximum point tracking (DMPPT) at the subarray level, are available to mitigate losses associated with nonuniform operating conditions in grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) arrays, yet there is not a good understanding of their potential increase energy capture. This paper develops demonstrates methodology for use detailed software tool that can accurately model both partial shading electrical mismatch subpanel level PV array. Annual simulations run examine device-independent opportunity recovery arrays light, moderate, heavy shading, variations based on measurements from monocrystalline silicon It found unshaded gain <; 1% using but shaded it increases 3-16% panel-level DMPPT 7-30% cell-level DMPPT. In set simulated cases, optimization recovers 34-42% lost shading.
