摘要: Loss of dynamic brake is one the important issues AC electric mining trucks. The lack reduces safety and worries truck driver. driver may be forced to use service brake, which increases cost repair maintenance. Also, designed for speeds less than 3–6 mph not proper high speeds. has retard contactors in series with grid resistors. When presses pedal reduce speed, are closed power traction motors transferred inverter cabinet then dissipated on resistances. Each contactor includes main contacts its energy dissipative network. A set auxiliary that used control provides feedback a vehicle system circuit. Auxiliary can subjected dust, carbon monoxide other contaminants prevent from operating properly. Improperly result fault or loss braking short period time. This paper describes innovative design, implementation, introduction Unit Rigs' successful haul drive without using contactors.
