摘要: Increasingly stringent regulations on the maximum permissible sulfur levels in transportation fuels has inspired considerable interest reactive distillation (RD) based fuel hydrodesulfurization (HDS) refining industry. In this work, steady-state economic design and plantwide control of an RD naphtha HDS process is studied. The consists column followed by absorber-stripper unit. Engineering heuristics are employed to develop a near-optimum design. important trade-offs explained. A simple decentralized system employing single-point temperature inferential with fresh feed as throughput manipulator shown provide effective regulation for large changes throughput, thiophene composition, hydrogen composition.
