摘要: SUMMARY 1. To clarify the role of platelet-activating factor (PAF) in development adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), we performed bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) 19 patients with ARDS and examined cell populations, albumin concentrations PAF levels. levels were measured by a newly developed radioimmunoassay. 2. In BAL fluid patients, neutrophil percentages markedly increased compared control subjects. 3. was detected 14 ARDS, whereas it did not exist subjects. 4. Furthermore, investigated priming effect recombinant human tumour necrosis factor-α (TNFα), which is known to be one most important mediators on production induced calcium ionophore neutrophils. 5. Pre-incubation TNFα dose-dependently both extracellular intracellular neutrophils. 6. These results suggest that might play an ARDS.
