Experimental observation of the radial propagation of ELM induced filaments on ASDEX Upgrade

摘要: The ASDEX Upgrade tokamak has recently been equipped with a new filament probe for studies. features set of radially separated Langmuir pins which are suited measuring the radial propagation velocity impinging filaments. A series type-I ELMy H-mode discharges analysed, and velocity, size density 466 filaments have derived at different distances from separatrix. Mean various parameter dependences studied respect to models propagation. evolution decay also investigated.
