摘要: Adsorption on metal surfaces is one of the major topics surface science. Stimulated by interest in a variety technologically important processes such as catalytic reactions and corrosion, interaction between adsorbates has been studied for long time. Phenomena adsorbate bonding, dissociation, diffusion, ordering processes, with or other adsorbates, growth three-dimensional layers reaction products, finally desorption were techniques. Except few methods low-energy electron microscopy (LEEM) [4.1] field ion (FIM) [4.2] all these techniques integrate over macroscopic areas. STM, hand, provides local information an atomic scale, both structure electronic properties surface. This particularly investigation e.g. role defects impurities reactions.
