摘要: This paper proposes a novel design of an optical wireless communications (OWC) receiver using solar panel as photodetector. The proposed system is capable simultaneous data transmission and energy harvesting. can convert modulated light signal into electrical without any external power requirements. Furthermore, the direct current (DC) component be harvested in receiver. generated potentially used to user terminal or at least prolong its operation time. work discusses various parameters which need considered for communication presented theory supported with experimental implementation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), thus, proving validity analysis demonstrating feasibility Using propounded system, link rate 11.84 Mbps established received peak-to-peak amplitude $\hbox{0.7}\times \hbox{10}^{-3}\ \hbox{W}/\hbox{cm}^{2}$ .
