摘要: Abstract A frequency-domain High-Cycle Fatigue (HCF) criterion based on the critical plane approach is here proposed to estimate fatigue life of smooth metallic structural components under multiaxial random loading. The procedure consists following three steps: (a) definition plane; (b) PSD evaluation an equivalent normal stress; and (c) computation life. new formulation define adopted in order improve lifetime estimation. validated through comparison obtained numerical results with experimental data available literature for steel specimens subjected a combination non-proportional bending torsion.
