E-Mail authorship attribution for computer forensics

摘要: In this chapter, we briefly overview the relatively new discipline of computer forensics and describe an investigation forensic authorship attribution or identification undertaken on a corpus multi-author multi-topic e-mail documents. We use extended set document features such as structural characteristics linguistic patterns together with Support Vector Machine learning algorithm. Experiments number documents generated by different authors topics gave promising results for categorisation.
