摘要: In search of polymer electrolyte based on PEO- salt complexes other than the extensively studied lithium-based electrolytes, we report new PEO complexed with KIO3 salt. Several experimental techniques such as differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), composition dependence conductivity, temperature conductivity and transport number measurements have been performed to characterize electrolyte. DSC study reveals that melting pure is shifting towards lower temperatures by complexing The conductivity-temperature plots show two regions below above point (Tm). Transport numbers data suggest charge in this system mainly due ions. Using films solid-state electrochemical cells fabricated discharge characteristics studied. open circuit voltage (OCV) short current (SCC) are found be 2.69 V 346µA respectively.
