Adequacy analysis of drinking water treatment technologies in regard to the parameter turbidity, considering the quality of natural waters treated by large-scale WTPs in Brazil

摘要: This paper seeks to present a performance evaluation of large-scale water treatment plants and verify the adjustment parameter turbidity natural waters. Nonparametric multivariate statistical tools were used analyze raw treated large on-line monitoring databank for period from 2013 2015, six utilizing different technologies. Cluster analysis was able differentiate adequately groups with similar quality. Considering effluent as marker parameter, results indicated that selection technology be applied must well studied always seek best solution, other factors than only characteristics should evaluated. It also demonstrated utilization same does not result in quality, since there are many related operation, maintenance, variability, climatic interferences, others.
