摘要: Volatiles dissolved in silicic magma at depth exsolve as the nears surface and cause an increase viscosity of magma. A model a volcanic conduit within elastic medium dependent on volatile content produces oscillatory flow for critical range steady input rates. Oscillatory is recognized fundamental mode behavior volcanoes, understanding it allows improved short-term forecasting timing eruption style.
