摘要: Rapid cloud response to instantaneous radiative perturbation in the troposphere due change CO2 concentration is called adjustment. Cloud adjustment develops on a short timescale because it separated from surface temperature-mediated changes cloud. Adjustments and tropospheric properties including hydrological cycle have attracted considerable attention of their importance interpretation mechanisms climate identification sources uncertainty sensitivity. Modeling studies clearly revealed that major aspects warming drying troposphere, associated reduction low increasing shortwave forcing, downward shift low-cloud layer, slowdown global cycle, are common among many model simulations. Combinations simulations with realistic idealized aqua-planet settings helped demonstrate roles land robust
