摘要: The occurrence of 4 pesticide residues, imidacloprid, carbendazim, methiocarb, and hexythiazox, was assessed in several fruits (oranges, tangerines, watermelons, date plums) from the Valencian Community (Spain). A total 227 samples--56 oranges, 134 13 24 plums--were taken an agricultural cooperative representative area studied during 2001. pesticides were determined by liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry after sample extraction with ethyl acetate anhydrous sodium sulfate. Recoveries at 2 fortification levels (0.02 0.2 mg/kg), lower which quantification limit, ranged 60 to 108%. Concentrations hexythiazox 0.02 0.75 mg/kg 184 samples (54 119 3 8 plums). Nineteen contained methiocarb or residues that exceeded maximum residue limits. Calculation estimated daily intakes their comparison Acceptable Daily Intakes established Food Agriculture Organization World Health demonstrated safety fruit consumption showed importance monitoring for residues.
