摘要: Many combustion models that are based on the flamelet paradigm employ a reaction progress variable. While such variable is well defined for one-step kinetics, this typically not case complex chemical mechanisms. Consequently, several expressions have been utilized. In paper formal method generation of proposed optimal with respect to set constraints. The potential demonstrated in applications partially premixed and diffusion flames, extension discussed. It shown can lead significant improvements definition an over conventional formulations, essentially eliminating expert knowledge previously required identifying quantities.
