摘要: Introduction "1-2-3 Pap" is a video-based intervention designed to improve human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine adherence rates among young women in rural Eastern Kentucky. The efficacy trial for the original linked video exposure with increased likelihood of series completion target audience. Given their historic focus on prevention, local health departments were selected as pilot sites study implementation 1-2-3 Pap public setting and identify site-specific variations its implementation. Methods A mixed-method, pre- post-comparison conducted between October 2013 April 2014 addressed three primary research questions: (1) how specific planning activities using existing organizational resources processes affect selection optimization dissemination channels evidence-based interventions; (2) what resources, processes, or other attributes facilitate impede (3) variation corresponds outcomes. Results Although analysis found that did not generate significant changes HPV rates, data yielded from Organizational Readiness Change Assessment survey instrument process evaluation interviews revealed pre-study use coordination staff, adaptation materials provided implementation, sites' ability access rate throughout study. Conclusions mixed-method advances science through identification prevention interventions settings.
