The objective assessment of general practitioners' educational needs: an under-researched area?

摘要: A systematic literature review of the educational needs assessment general practitioners (GPs) is described. total 36 studies, based on subject in primary care, were identified. The methods searching and difficulties identifying papers chosen are discussed. Although there an extensive reporting perception GPs' learning needs, have been relatively few studies describing their objective evaluation. Seventeen this described, it was found that questionnaires structured interviews most usual method adopted. There a case for developing evaluating wider range assessing particularly if move towards portfolio-based to gain momentum.
