摘要: Days open (DO), which is the interval from calving to conception, an important trait related reproductive performance in cattle. To identify quantitative loci for DO Japanese Black cattle, we conducted a genome-wide association study with 33,303 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) using 459 animals extreme values selected larger group of 15,488 animals. We identified SNP on bovine chromosome 2 (BTA2) that was associated DO. After imputation phased haplotype data inferred 586 812 SNPs 1041 six were located 8.5-kb region high linkage disequilibrium BTA2. These telomeric side at distance 177 kb parathyroid hormone receptor (PTH2R) gene. The replicated sample 1778 In population, frequency reduced-DO allele (Q) 0.63, and it accounted 1.72% total genetic variance. effect Q-to-q substitution decrease 3.74 days. results suggest Q could serve as marker cattle select superior performance.
