摘要: Endocrine disorders are being more frequently recognized as causes for significant mental and neuromuscular manifestations, which often dominate the clinical picture. In majority patients with PHPT, prominent symptomatology arouses suspicion diagnosis is not realm psychiatry or neurology. However, our experience, appreciable subjective objective neuropsychiatric signs symptoms been found were helpful developing confirming hyperparathyroidism. addition, we encountered cases PHPT where presenting picture was primarily psychiatric neurologic, led to consultation a psychiatrist neurologist before true entertained. characteristic disturbances calcium (and also magnesium) homeostasis
