摘要: Outer doublet tubulin has been purified from flagella of differentiated cells the amebo-flagellate Naegleria gruberi. The flagellar is similar to other tubulins in molecular weight (55,000), amino acid composition, electrophoretic mobility, and nucleotide composition. However, protein contains 2 moles guanine per 55,000 g protein, twice that usually found tubulin. A rabbit antiserum against was shown contain antibodies specific for Purified iodinated with 125I used a radioimmune assay measure levels antigen cells. measurements indicate increases 35- 55-fold during differentiation amebae flagellates.
