摘要: Selective harmonic elimination pulse-width modulation (SHE-PWM) techniques offer a tight control of the spectrum given voltage waveform generated by power electronic converter along with low number switching transitions. These optimal transitions can be calculated through Fourier theory, and for years quarter-wave half-wave symmetries have been assumed when formulating problem. It is shown recently that symmetry requirements relaxed as constraint. This changes way problem formulated different solutions found. study presents formulations problem, namely quarter-, non-symmetrical waveform. A critical evaluation comparison between three schemes are reported here based on various aspects, such eliminated harmonics, profile, phasing, performance, computational time solution space limitations. Selected simulation experimentally validated results presented to confirm theoretical work this study. manuscript revised extended version earlier paper was at IEEE PESC 2008, Rhodes, Greece, 15-19 June has not submitted any other journal consideration possible publication.
