摘要: Abstract This study deals with preparation and characterization of polymethylmetracrylate (PMMA) microcapsules containing n-octacosane as phase change material for thermal energy storage. The surface morphology, particle size distribution (PSD) were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). chemical PMMA/octacosane was made FT-IR spectroscopy method. Thermal properties stability microencapsulated octacosane determined using differential calorimetry (DSC) gravimetric analysis (TGA). melting freezing temperatures the latent heats PCM measured 50.6 53.2 °C, 86.4 −88.5 J/g, respectively, DSC analysis. TGA indicated that degrade in two steps had good stability. cycling test shows have reliability respect to accelerated cycling. Based on results, it can be considered storage potential.
