摘要: With the rapid growth and increased life expectancy of world’s population, prevalence chronic disorders such as Parkinson’s disease (PD) is also increasing. This challenges current healthcare system in terms cost resources reallocation. An emerging approach facilitated by a new technological platform, called Internet Things, introduction wearable devices for medical applications potential solution to this problem. Miniaturized low-cost sensor units are placed close patients’ body unobtrusively collect information about their health status. distributed through smart grid, creating an efficient structure that reduces costs maximizes resources. Patient engagement plays key role restructuration. Here, we discuss state-of-the-art revolution with emphasis disease. As example application platform PD, present assess important symptom- namely postural instability- using technology.
