摘要: The diversity of signalling pathways that gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptors can target has been extended markedly in recent years, ranging from classical heterotrimeric G-protein-coupled second-messenger mobilisation to MAPK cascade activation and epidermal growth factor receptor transactivation. More recently, the targeting non-classical demonstrated, including monomeric G-proteins integrin/focal adhesion complexes mediate cytoskeletal remodelling, androgen nuclear translocation, luteinising beta-subunit gene transcription. These have further include c-Src-mediated diacylglycerol kinase, a novel mechanism cross-talk prostaglandin signalling. Here, we review these advances highlight several emerging dimensions GnRH receptor-mediated signal transduction. mediators insulin signalling, Wnt pathways. Collectively, this diverse nature is suggestive an important role for variety normal physiological pathophysiological processes reproductive system.
