摘要: Abstract Cellular aging plays a role in longevity and senescence, has been implicated medical psychiatric conditions, including heart disease, cancer, major depression posttraumatic stress disorder. Telomere shortening mitochondrial dysfunction are thought to be central the cellular process. The present study examined association between DNA (mtDNA) copy number telomere length sample of medically healthy adults. Participants (total n = 392) were divided into 4 groups based on presence or absence early life adversity lifetime psychopathology: No Adversity/No Disorder, n = 136; n = 91; Adversity/Disorder, n = 46; n = 119. mtDNA measured using quantitative polymerase chain reaction. There was positive correlation entire (r = 0.120, p
