摘要: In vivo functional imaging by means of positron emission tomography (PET) is the sole method for providing a quantitative measurement μ-, κ and δ-opioid receptor-mediated signalling in central nervous system. During last two decades, measurements changes to regional brain opioidergic neuronal activation—mediated endogenously produced opioid peptides, or exogenously administered drugs—have been conducted numerous chronic pain conditions, epilepsy, as well stimulant- drugs. Although several PET-tracers have used clinically depiction quantification receptors changes, underlying mechanisms regulation availability are still unclear. After presentation general receptor system relevant PET, critical survey pharmacological properties some currently available presented. Clinical studies performed with different PET ligands also reviewed compound-dependent findings summarized. An outlook given concluding tailoring tracer properties, order facilitate selective addressment dynamic single subclass, combination an optimization framework essentials further progress field imaging.
