Short-term psychiatric hospitalization of children.

摘要: Recent changes in psychiatric practice, fueled part by national economic trends, have contributed to the increasing use of short-term hospitalization for children. The authors discuss specific approaches treatment planning, milieu therapy, family work, and individual therapy that help maximize a patient's stay on unit latency-age children at Tulane University Hospital. Data diagnosis length admitted during first two years unit's operation are presented, attributes latency development affect process discussed.
