Ceruletide-assisted examination of the small bowel.

摘要: Ceruletide, a decapeptide similar in action to cholecystokinin, was studied randomized fashion 48 patients undergoing routine small bowel examination. Parenteral administration of Ceruletide demonstrated significantly decreased transit time (28.8 min) when compared with placebo (67 (P less than 0.005). However, this offset by diminution anatomic quality particularly the distal ileum. A hypotonic on duodenual bulb and sweep observed 77% after Ceruletide. This effect may prove be useful adjunct performance an upper gastrointestinal series.
