摘要: This article describes the principal charged particle accelerators being used today for research in nuclear physics energy range up to about 1000 MeV. The include Van de Graaffs, sector cyclotrons and linear both positive ions electrons. For each type of accelerator a brief treatment is given recent history, operating principles, some special techniques, typical facility, examples experimental data from that accelerator. Descriptions are also new types machines under construction, such as pelletrons, frequency modulated cyclotrons, separated superconducting accelerators. New ideas future mentioned, including multistage tandem electron ring reader assumed have no experience or physics, many references more detailed treatments topics covered.
