摘要: We investigate the thermodynamics of a combined Dicke- and Ising-model which exhibits rich phenomenology arising from second order quantum phase transitions respective models. The partition function is calculated using mean field theory, free energy analyzed in detail to determine complete diagram for system. analysis reveals both first- second-order Dicke into super-radiant state, cavity mean-field this regime acts as an effective magnetic field, restricts Ising chain dynamics parameter ranges away transition. Physical systems with first are natural candidates metrology calibration purposes, we apply filter theory show that sensitivity physical system temperature external fields reaches 1/N Heisenberg limit.
