摘要: In the last three years, more than 70,000 scientific articles have been published in peer reviewed journals on application of histochemistry biomedical field: most them did not appear strictly histochemical journals, but others dealing with cell and molecular biology, medicine or biotechnology. This proves that is still an active innovative discipline relevance basic applied biological research, also demonstrates especially small should likely reconsider their scopes strategies to preserve authorship. A review years volumes European Journal Histoche mistry, taken as example a long-time established journal, confirmed were widely heterogeneous topics experimental models, this journal’s tradition. strongly suggests journal keep its role forum open audience broad possible, publishing papers tissue biology wide variety models. will improve knowledge mechanisms development differentiation, while helping increase number potential authors since scientists who generally do use research find hints for applications techniques novel unexplored subjects.
