摘要: (1) Barley (Hordeum sativum) and field beans (Viciafaba) were grown alone with either their roots or shoots, both intermixed. The nitrogen supply, total density relative time of planting also varied. (2) Relative Yield Totals (RYTs) mixtures significantly greater than 1.0 only when the root systems intermixed, RYTs reduced N fertilizer was applied. We therefore conclude that yield advantage intercropping due mainly to barley using different sources. (3) competitive ability beans. Sowing before further increased its ability. (4) Root competition had a much effect on performance two species did shoot competition. There evidence competed for P K.
