摘要: Abstract Udimet 520 and 720 samples submitted to different annealing temperatures ageing times have been investigated by small angle neutron scattering (SANS), with the aim study precipitates phases microstructural evolution materials’ behaviour. These materials are γ′ (Ni3Al, Ti) precipitation hardened nickel-based superalloys possessing high strength, corrosion resistance metallurgical stability. They mainly adopted in temperature environment, having found applications over a very wide range of temperature. Their importance has increased thanks their good balance mechanical properties economic potential. Information on thermal treatment effects obtained, particular concerning precipitate size volume fraction distributions. The results contribute confirm SANS level industrial applicability considered sectors.
