摘要: We report measurements of excited‐state lifetimes for Si–H stretching vibrational modes steps and terraces on chemically prepared, hydrogen‐terminated vicinal Si(111) surfaces using picosecond pump–probe surface spectroscopy. The present these are shown to play an important role in the energy relaxation pathways. Three types studied, all having monohydride‐terminated but differing step termination or density. Two cut along 〈112〉 direction, 9° 5° from (111) plane, respectively. Both have dihydride‐terminated steps. A third is plane direction has normal show times ∼100 ps [≤80 130(20) ps, uncertainty parentheses], while relax 10 more slowly with 1100(120) lifetim...
