摘要: It is well known that arsenite [As(III)] less effectively removed than arsenate [As(V)] by most treatment technologies. Thus, pre-oxidation of As(III) to As(V) required prior adsorption. Here, the oxidation properties manganese oxides with adsorption features multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) have been combined in a composite MWCNT/MnO2. The was characterized Fourier transform infrared absorption spectroscopy (FTIR), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) diffraction (XRD). In batch culture experiments, MWCNTs MWCNT/MnO2 were examined for As(V). results reveal MnO2 plays key role enhancing removal not as effective MWCNTs. retention slightly pH dependent. reported can be regenerated it confirmed SEM EDX analysis. study could considered model preparation investigation multifunctional material used wastewater arsenic.
