摘要: Industrial use of multirotor drones is gaining traction, and fuel cell based power sources have been identified as a way improving the flight endurance from what possible to achieve with current lithium-based battery options. The state-of-technology barriers for further adoption are presented. It found that there lightweight options commercially available viability powering long-range high missions demonstrated. mainly relate future required level certification, technical improvements, operational aspects. For advancing state-of-technology, liquid-cooled cells an attractive alternative can expand environmental envelope. However, system mass these remains constraint. Hydrogen storage central challenge, alternatives investigated. To improve drones, financial rewards must be well proven realistic operations relevant operating conditions.
