摘要: A novel inductively loaded monopole for future ultra-wide- band (UWB) applications is presented. The antenna compact and of small size (16mm £ 20mm 0:8mm), ofier a very simple geometry suitable low cost fabrication straight forward printed circuit board integration. More speciflcally, the impedance matching classic improved by employment tapered microstrip feed line between K-connector monopole. By using this technique, bandwidth (S11 < i10dB) from 3.03GHz to over 40GHz obtained. Measured simulated return loss curves are provided along with radiation patterns gains, as function frequency. Compared recently reported UWB antennas, presented have smallest size, widest bandwidth, conflguration realize application in communication systems. Furthermore, symmetric satisfactory gains make candidate practical applications.
