摘要: A general theory and calculation framework for the prediction of frequency-resolved single molecule photon counting statistics is presented. Expressions generating function counts are derived, both case naive “detection” based solely on emission from also experimentally realizable detection emitted photons, used to explicitly calculate low-order photon-counting moments. The two cases versus physical compared one another it demonstrated that scheme resolves certain inconsistencies predicted via approach. Applications different models molecular dynamics considered: a simple two-level system absorber subject spectral diffusion.
