摘要: Abstract Gallium(III) in ground water may cause human health hazards due to the antineoplastic and antimicrobial activities of gallium. However, exposure limit Ga(III) has not been set. This paper demonstrates scope employing square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) on bismuth film electrode (BiFE) for selective sensitive detection as well its accurate precise determination. The key parameters were optimized morphology was characterized. performance BiFE also compared with that mercury (MFE). studied interferences Zn(II), Cd(II), Tl(I) Cu(II) ions. Gaussian peak fitting performed improve calibration curve process revealed almost similar heights obtained from experimentally observed data though slight improvement area analysis. A good linear dynamic range (R2 = 0.996) concentration 20–100 μg/L a (LOD) 6.6 μg/L (S/N = 3) Ga(III). relative standard deviation 2.9% (n = 10) 20 μg/L solution. practical analytical utility method verified by determination spiked samples, where 100–105% recovery achieved.
