Constant switching frequency using proposed controller with optimal DTC switching strategy for dual-inverter supplied drive

摘要: This paper presents a simple solution to the variable switching frequency and high torque ripple which encountered by hysteresis-based Direct Torque Control (DTC) drive. To solve this two major problems, new carried-based controller is introduced replace previous hysteresis operate comparing error with triangular waveform. Since dual-inverter supplied drive implemented, an optimal strategy scheme adopted for ensuring most appropriate amplitude of voltage vectors selected according machine operation condition. As result, become easier be control inside waveform since rate change or slope lesser then By combining carrier-based scheme, DTC performances able improved further providing constant as well reduction. Then, all improvement offered proposed schemes are validated through experimental results.
