摘要: A novel nanocomposite in the role of photocatalyst was prepared by composition zinc sulfide (ZnS) nanoparticles with carbon nanofibers (CNFs) and characterized. The XRD, EDX, FE-SEM analysis revealed that ZnS is successfully embedded CNFs matrix. DRS results indicated supporting led to a decrease band gap energy. photocatalytic degradation hazardous xanthine dye, Rhodamine 6 G (Rh-6G), ZnS/CNFs composite examined from kinetics point view. Non-linear regression used develop mathematical model based on Langmuir–Hinshelwood mechanism an empirical equation obtained for estimation apparent pseudo first-order rate constant (kap) as function operational parameters (viz. initial dye concentration, content, pH, irradiation intensity). Based results, kap increased increase UV light intensity, whereas it decreased increasing Rh-6G concentration. Moreover, new proposed elementary steps determine kap. In final stage work, intermediate materials produced within were detected GC-MS analysis. This article protected copyright. All rights reserved.
